Denim-blue,speckled, dumortiorite, half-moon cabochons dangle beneathadeep-blue pair of genuine, step-cut sapphires. These square sapphires are mounted inchunky,hand-fabricated bezels, as are the little moons that swing below them. We think these earrings feel both modern and ancient, and that the orientation of the unusual dumortiorite gems calls to mind a little boat. Metal is all 18k yellow gold, and is beautifully brushed. Earwires are french hooks. These are cheerful, and soulful, and the perfect size foreasy wear.

These earrings were entirely hand-fabricated in Portland, OR, by collaborating, independent craftspeople and designers.
